National Library Annual Meeting held in Dongguan

Nanfang Daily: National Library Annual Meeting Dongguan Unveiled

     Nanfang Daily News Yesterday, the highest-level and largest industry event in China's library industry, "2012 Annual Conference of Chinese Libraries - Annual Conference of Chinese Library Society · Chinese Library Exhibition" opened in Dongguan. This annual meeting is hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. The theme of the annual meeting is "Cultural Power - Libraries' Responsibility and Mission". The opening ceremony was held at the Yulan Grand Theater in Dongguan. Yang Zhijin, Vice Minister of Culture, Lin Shaochun, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, Zhou Heping, Honorary Chairman of the Library Society of China, Fang Jianhong, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture, Yuan Baocheng, Mayor of Dongguan and other guests jointly unveiled the ceremony.
